Harriet Hammel sadly passed away recently, in this picture she is teaching the Jota at a Teacher's course.Barbara Gregory taught Harriet when she was a little girl.
Harriet was a Trustee for The Legat Foudation for many years, she will be missed by us all.

Teachers Summer School

2016 saw the return of The Legat Foundation Teachers Summer Course to The Pyramid in Warrington UK,home to LK Ballet Studios.Hosted by its Principals Karolina Romaniszyn-Tong & Libby Blindell.
It was well attended & teachers & their students traveled from all over the UK & Europe.
Each day consisted of a daily master class,character class & syllabus analysis & demonstration.
This has been a particularly special teachers course as pupils of LK Ballet studios took & successfully passed The Legat Foundation examinations,& two attendees passed their Junior Teachers exam.

We now  look forward to the commemoration  of 80 years since the death of Nicholai Gustavovitch Legat to be held on January 29th 2017 in Colet House, Talgarth Road, London.
The plans for which were discussed at the Trustees meeting held on Wednesday July 20th 2016.

William Griffin aged 20 enjoying life in the Ballet West School


William Griffin joined The Moya Vahey School of Russian Classical Ballet at the age of 3.
